ROGER ALAN SEAHOLM
1961 - 2021
Roger Alan Seaholm was born November 26, 1961, in Needham, MA and peacefully entered heaven on April 6, 2021, at the age of 59 from his home in Las Vegas, NV.
Roger, often referred to as “Skip” by many, was one of five children. He was raised in Western Mass and graduated in 1979 from Franklin County Technical School in Turners Falls, MA. The next year, he joined the Air Force, serving in Peacetime and the start of the Gulf War from 1980 to 1991. On April 23, 1987, he became the proud father of son, Miles Seaholm. Roger met the love of his life, Carlos Saavedra in Las Vegas in 1998. They married in 2000 and had been married for 21 years.
Roger was larger than life with a charismatic personality, and a little bit of mojo magic charmed everyone he met. He enjoyed telling jokes, being the Emcee at any event, and was a master at creating crazy family games. He loved the element of surprise, being a mixologist, dancing to a favorite song, and had been known to (in his booming voice) belt out a song when entering a building. Roger’s favorite pastime was to be with family and friends and sail with Carnival Cruise Line. He was always the life of the party.
Roger worked for well-known companies such as Lennar/US Homes, Motion Properties, and the restaurant, Therapy. Roger’s professionalism, expertise, and charisma provided Roger the skills to quickly advance in every job he held. He earned many awards and titles such as Operations Manager, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, and Senior & Regional Vice President. His most treasured and loved work was as General Manager of the restaurant, Therapy. He took great pride in overseeing the construction, design, and menu of this unique foodie restaurant. Roger would often ask with great humor, “Who needs Therapy?”
Roger is preceded in death by his father; Robert Eric Seaholm; brother, Freddy MacGray.
Roger is survived by husband, Carlos Seaholm; mother, Jeanette Seaholm; son, Miles Seaholm; brothers, Eddie MacGray, Eric Seaholm; sister, Robin (Seaholm) Jouas-Gegg; dear aunt and uncle, Kenneth and Gail MacGray; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family.
