Richard Albino Gilloon

Richard Gilloon, 80, of Las Vegas, passed away on March 15, 2021 in Las Vegas.

Richard was born in Illinois, to Winifred and Joseph Gilloon on January 30, 1941.  

Richard Graduated from Pomona Catholic High School and moved to Las Vegas when he was 22 to become a member of the Las Vegas Sheriff Department.  When the Las Vegas Sheriff Department merged with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Richard became an officer in the LVPD.  Later in life, Richard worked for the Las Vegas Water District.

Richard is survived by his wife Karen Gilloon, her daughter, Kara Westbrook, and grandchildren Scott and Elliot Westbrook.

Visitation will be 3:00 Thursday, April 1, 2021 with funeral services immediately following at 3:45. Las Vegas Cremations, 5555 W Charleston Blvd.
