Natalya Elmore Obituary

Natalya “Talya” Marie Elmore passed away at the young age of 27 on October 15, 2022, at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, NV surrounded by family.

The youngest of five, Talya was born on April 11,1995 to Dianne and Duane Elmore in Yakima, WA. She attended Nob Hill Elementary, Lewis & Clark middle school, and graduated from Davis High School in 2013 with honors. As a kid Talya enjoyed playing sports, spending time with family, and was passionate about cheerleading. Talya started cheerleading at the age of 6 for the Southeast Saints and continued with cheerleading all through High school. After high school Talya attended Washington State University and later moved to Las Vegas, NV where she attended Western Governors University and worked for AAA Anytime, Inc. Talya was a proud pet parent of her cat Promise and dogs Tootsie, Kush, and Bubu. She enjoyed comedy shows, anime, spending time with her nieces and nephews, and watching her Atlanta Falcons. She found her peace in spending time at home with Kertrice and their pets. You could always count on Talya to show up with her big bright smile and lighten the room. Talya was never scared to be herself.

Talya is survived by her Fiancé Kertrice, her mother and father Dianne and Duane Elmore, and her four siblings JaQuena Joe (Jamelle), Latika Joe, Javaray Elmore (Joanna), and Jazznea Elmore, and her nieces and nephews Keayana, Jeremiah, Jhase, D’Anthony, Nyshelle, Jhmauri, Tyah’Veon and Jalem. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Harvin “Jack” Sr. and Ida Joe and Eugene and Carrie Elmore, her aunts Doris Thompson, and Gwen Elmore and uncles Harvey Joe Jr., Eugene “Genie” Elmore Jr, and Edward “Bumpy” Elmore.

Nobody expected for Natalya’s life to be cut short so soon. We are all devastated by this huge loss, and she will forever be missed. She was genuinely sweet, smart, a kind soul and heart of gold, and had a beautiful smile.

Let’s honor Talya’s memory by continuing to spread love in this world and sing and dance just like she use to do.

A celebration for Talya will be held November 23, 2022, in Las Vegas, NV. The service will be held at Las Vegas Cremations at 12:30pm.
