Mandell Maull Obituary

On Monday March 8,2021 Mandell Maull passed away at the age of 47.
Mandell was born on June 21,1973 in Detroit Mi. to Shirlene Maull-Fitzpatrick and Michael Rice.  He was raised in Los Angeles CA. by his mother and stepfather Ron Fitzpatrick. He studied Computer Science at Los Angeles Mission College.

Mandell was inspired to paint at the age of 4 by his mother. He took Cubism and made it into his own style, he called Dimensionalism. His paintings have been displayed in several art galleries throughout California and Nevada. He once said "In my paintings there is a light source intended to bring life and light into a room" and that's what Mandell did.  He brought life and light wherever he went. He was a loving, charismatic, intelligent, talented, and funny Father, Husband, Son, Brother, Cousin, Nephew, Friend, and Mentor.
Mandell is survived by his wife Christi, daughter Charissa, mother Shirlene, father Michael, step father Ron, his sisters Kimberley,  Melodie, Ebony, Alton, Chloe, Mesha, his brother's Dennis, Maurice, Ron, Jon, 5 nephew's, 3 nieces, several cousin's aunt's and uncles.
He will be extremely missed.
We Love You.

   A letter to my Father:
Mandell Maull, my father, was a very amicable and loving person. Not only was he a husband for many years, but a very caring father as well. Throughout his lifetime, he taught me many lessons about life that significantly influenced my thinking in a positive manner. His lessons will always have a memorable impact on me that I will in-turn share with our future lineage. He was very artistic and intelligent, which most prominently showcased in his own artwork. His love for art and gifted capabilities fortunately passed down to his only daughter, and for that I will be forever grateful and aim to make him proud with my own workings. I will love you forever dad, and I can't wait to see you again
     -Charissa Maull

A letter to my Uncle:
My uncle Mandell was the greatest. He has taught me a lot of things and was overall a great person and family member. He was always caring and loving and would help everyone without asking for anything in return. My uncle was a great artist and great at fixing and working on computers. He was a great uncle to me and his many other niece's and nephew's My favorite memory was when my uncle's, grandad and I went to summer league and we would always get ice cream and watch the games. I also loved when I went to his house to watch him and the other men in the family play dominoes. My uncle was always welcoming to everyone. Overall my uncle was a great person it is unfortunate that he had to go this early, but while he was here with us he was an inspiration to many.
