August Ficarrotta Obituary

August Vincent Ficarrotta died April 30th, 2020 in Las Vegas Nevada.

He was born August 14th, 1967 in Lynbrook, NY to Salvatore and Ann Ficarrotta. August graduated from East Rockaway High School.

He lived in Boston and Seattle before settling down in Las Vegas, NV. Augie was a gifted musician and composer. His passion for music ranged from hard rock to classical symphonic and gospel. During his life, he spent time mastering and recording each genre. He was a member of the bands Bladen’s Uncle and Wasted Creation before releasing his solo album, Testimony. At family gatherings or wherever a piano was in his presence, he could be heard playing and singing to the delight of others.  Augie enjoyed riding motorcycles and worked as a sales manager for Titan Motorcycle Company. August was a skilled carpenter and took pride in his work and making others happy. He was the type of person that would give you the shirt off his back, even if he had nothing.

August was a devote believer in Jesus Christ and was a member of the Church of Latter-day Saints.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kingston, nephew Curtis and mother, Ann.

August is survived by his father, Salvatore; brothers John, Frank, and Salvatore Jr.; wife Angelica and children August Jr., April, Marc, Sebastian and John. He was loved by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but the world through him would be saved.”

John 3 16-17
